What’s this?
This site hopefully helps to explain what this blog is about and why I am writing it.
I will answer some questions you have never ask and will probably never ask, but I do it anyway. Here is my F.A.Q:
Q: Who are you?
A: My Name is Mathias Rudolph, I am from Germany and currently a student of computer science and writing my diploma thesis.
Q: You are from Germany? Why don’t you write German then?
A: Hey, wait a minute, these are two questions. Only one at a time please.
Q: You are from Germany?
A: Yes from Germany and I know my English is not perfect. I was born in Dresden, Saxony the most beautiful city in the world. Currently I life near Frankfurt am Main.
Q: Okay, but why writing in English?
A: It’s all about fame, I could reach more people… if anybody is reading this blog at all. And unfortunately, my mandarin is not that good.
Q: So why a blog anyway?
A: Basically, I am thinking about things all day long. Why not put that monologue in a blog. That way it seems less psychopathic and maybe some is even interested in it.
Q: So what are you going to write about?
A: For now, there are three topics I want to cover. First, politics cause I am interested in this topic and I am member of the Social Democratic Party of Germany(SPD). Second, IT cause I am an computer scientist and that’s what I usually do all day long. And the third topic, is everything I encounter during my normal life and I consider worth of being published.
Q: You are member of a party? Doesn’t mean it, that you are biased?
A: Yes it does. But I will try to stay objective… try…
Q: Why do you call the blog “The Reef”?
A: Let’s solve this riddle with a little metaphor. Imagine my mind as reef and there are some boats that get caught in the current of the ocean and drift towards this reef. Some of them make it across the reef and some get stuck. The ocean is basically the world, the boats are events. To metaphorical?
